Oh these are literally dreamy 😍 technical questiom- how did you upload so many images to your post? I kept reaching my max at about 10 images on Substack and I kept compressing the size to the smallest possible..
I too have only seen a handful of hourlies this year :( this is my first time doing it all day and even then I was not following any rules. Next year I’m going to try your method of having a certain amount of squares per hour. Here’s mine:
I’m really undecided about the soluble pencils. I’d need to see someone do something cool with them. But I like the grit and texture of the pencil and the water takes it away. I feel like it messed up my Hamnet sketch a bit and made the audience less readable as a movie theater audience.
Also you’re so brave for the cold plunge and I love the idea of being a part of a cold plunge group- strength in solidarity 🥶
You always do such a great job on these! I love switching over to pears. I’ve attempted it the last couple of years. I just posted 2026 on IG @ryanmiddaugh_art
Always lovely to have a peek into your day, Vera! I especially love the part about everyone turning into pears and then realizing you are a lucky pear 🍐 how sweet!
This challenge always sneaks up on me, and I've yet to do one. Seems like I'm always on deadline or getting ready for a conference this time of year. This year was both. I did the 24 hour comic book day challenge 10 years in a row and ran and organized it all of those years on multiple campuses. One day I'll do this one.
This was the most wholesome hourlies I've read so far! So heartwarming to see you go to three community group in a day! Very inspiring <33 Much love from India
<3 Yours are always the best! Mine are here if you wanna read https://www.patreon.com/posts/hourly-comic-day-150335823

Those are so lovely, Claire! How’d you like the soluble pencils? I have a few but haven’t really played with them.
Hmm. I have never run into a limit on images, and I’ve posted a LOT of them! Not sure what’s up with yours but looks like you got it all in there…?

These are great, and you've reminded me I need to post mine here. I shall try to report back when I do.
Now I'm very curious about broccoli forest loaf!
It’s a Hettie Lou McKinnon recipe! From Tenderheart. It was fine!
"It was fine!" is such a solid testimonial. :D
I calls em like I sees em. 🤷🏻
