Stunningly beautiful beaches and photography Vera. I'm loving your sketches in ink and watercolor too. It's amazing how much you are able to journal, photograph and write about on a daily basis. And upload all with great Starlink coverage. That's a blessing in itself. Glad that the population of foxes is dwindling. The wildflowers are beautiful. And rhubarb crisp and ice cream. What a treat. That's the life! How long will you be traveling with this team?
Thank you for blogging/reporting on this trip, its been fascinating following along! I love the sketches and stories that you are showing and its made me realise that there are all sort of opportunities if you just keep looking! Thanks from N Ireland.
Amazed at how you captured the low hanging cloud/fog in the sketch of the beach. I am so in love with this whole adventure. It's like your exploring a whole other world. Thanks for bringing the rest of us along with your delightful writing and incredible art.
I am Stacey (the boss's) mom. I'm enjoying your blog to get a good idea of what you all are doing. I hope the rest of the trip goes well.
Hi Stacey's mom! The boss is absolutely amazing, I am in awe.
Absolutely loving traveling to Alaska via your Substack.

Til the 31st! Then the Tiĝlax̂ will continue to do some volcano research I think, and is going as far as Baldir. Wish I could see it!
That’s wonderful! What a fantastic opportunity. Maybe you can go along again soon. So many volcanoes there. And activity.
These sketchbook drawings are SUCH a delight - lovely, lovely, lovely.
WOW this is such a thrilling adventure! Thanks for documenting it, LOVE the drawings. Godspeed!
